When I first became a new mom I had to quit my job to stay home with our son, while my hubby worked harder to pay the bills for the family. I was looking for alternative ways to make money. While reading up on the milestones for babies, I started finding a lot of learning toys for babies and kids, but all we're pretty pricey. I was looking for toys that as he got older would be easy to pack in the car but creative and fun enough to keep him busy when we're out. That was a toughie without breaking the bank. Instead I started researching toys and crafts. I came up with a lot of ideas for items to make (with the help of my hubby) and Wa-La... Happy to be Crafty was created.

I now have 100's of ideas that I am creating to build my shop. All items are handmade made by myself and are unique. I love the art of needle felting, my new found passion :)
